1.2 FIELD TRIP to Hungary (Oct 29th 2010)

2. AVAILABILITY
Due to the limitation of the conference room we kindly ask you to register at your earliest convenience. In case of exceeding the room capacity Organising Committee will give preference to the earliest registrations first.
On Visa requirements - update as of July 2010*
To facilitate your travel arrangements and if necessary to provide you assistance in visa procedure for Croatia and Hungary* citizens of certain countries are strongly advised to start with their travel arrangements and visa application on time. This way we will be able to send you Letter(s) of Acceptance/ Formal Invitation(s) in due time from both Organizing Institutions (CFI and ERTI) if such will be required as the procedure could last certain period.
In certain situations Legal person's letter of guarantee (Jamstveno pismo pravne osobe) will be required as well. For information and assistance please contact us at your earliest convenience in order to lodge your visa application on time. The visa application should be lodged not sooner than three(3) months prior to the date of the intended trip.
Please note that Croatia is not a member-country of EU as is Hungary. Therefore in order to participate on the field trip in Hungary on October 29th 2010 you might be required a Hungarian visa as well. Otherwise Croatian visa does not automatically permit entry into EU. For details on Hungarian visa and procedure please consult our Hungarian colleague
Mr.Laszlo Nagy. When submitting your Visa Application to the Embassy of the Republic in Croatia in your home country, please note that under number of entries (Broj ulazaka) you should put two(2) if you planned to participate on the Field trip to Hungary on October 29th. As you'll officially leave Croatia in the morning of that day and enter Hungary*, at the end of your Field Trip you will have to re-enter Croatia again. This is very important!
