Marta Curman presented the e-course “Sustainable forest management: from theory to practice” during the 3rd international conference “Natural resources, green technology and sustainable development/3-GREEN2018“ to conference audience, mainly forestry scientists and other forestry professionals. In her talk, Marta put special emphasis on the section related to the adaptation of sustainable forest management to the climatically changing environment. The section provides information on climate change and discusses need for adaptive forest management as one of the response strategies to challenges that are posed upon forests and forestry by climate change. The e-course is a result of the ERASMUS+ CIA2SFM project coordinated by the Croatian Forest Research Institute and collaboratively developed by project partners from Austria, Croatia and Slovenia. It is freely available in four languages to all interested upon simple registration. The conference took place in Zagreb on 5-8 June 2018.
