The implementation of the project at the Croatian Forest Research Institute will prepare project documentation that the applicant lacks, and on the basis of which he will approach the application and implementation of the IRI infrastructure project, which includes organizational reform of the institution. Following the implementation of the IRI infrastructure project, conditions will be created for conducting research within the scientific field of forestry that will enable the creation of new scientific, social and economic value, especially in the priority areas of the Smart Specialization Strategy.

The project in question will finance the following project activities:

• Preparation of project-technical documentation,
• Development of a Feasibility Study with cost-benefit analysis,
• Implementation of horizontal principles
• Project management,
• Promotion and visibility.

The Grant Agreement KK.01.1.1.09.0007 ‘Construction and equipping of new laboratories and reconstruction of existing buildings of the Croatian Forest Research Institute – CFRI’ awarded HRK 2,961,318.38, with a co-financing rate of 100%.

Project duration: 15/03/2021 – 15/10/2022
